Swiss miss, Swiss chocolate, Swiss knifes. Yep, you guessed it! I went to Switzerland! This was my first time leaving Spain, so I was both nervous and excited, but it is easy to say that I loved Switzerland. Three friends and I spent the weekend in Zurich and Lucern, and I just felt so content there. I was surrounded by colorful buildings, snowy mountains, and icy waters, and I have not felt so happy in awhile. I also ate the most delicious cheese fondue ever. I could have died and gone to cheesy heaven! Despite my hatred of chocolate, I even went into some Swiss chocolate stores and bought some chocolate (as souvenirs for others of course). We were also there during Carnavel, so Lucern was covered in vibrant decorations. If Switzerland was not so expensive (I spent €9 on a cup of hot chocolate), I could have stayed there forever.
